Traveling abroad has always been part of anyone’s life, it opens one’s mind to new cultures, countries, and peoples.

The recent and ever growing trend is to rent a vacation rental while sejourning abroad.

Vacation rentals, including New York vacation rentals,  offer a feel-like home experience and often include very useful features such as swimming pools, barbecues, tennis courts and sometimes, cars.

Driving a car in a new place is great as one can discover the area in an adventurous manner. In addition, it is very useful to have a GPS system in the car to avoid any chance of getting lost.

It makes perfect sense if sejourning in a place where one might not know its way around. If the car does not have a GPS, there is a brand new solution, rent one! Compare price of renting versus cost of owning.

Charges by rental companies for a GPS can be excessive it might be better to buy. International companies reputable can charge from 15 to 20$ a day for a GPS. If you stay more than a week buying a portable GPS definitely makes sense. You could buy a new GPS or can download a map if you have an upgradable GPS.
