This apartment is situated in the oldest neighborhood of Barcelona, called Barceloneta. It is just a few minutes walk to the beach, and about 15 minutes walk to Las Ramblas. The neighborhood itself is very lively and there are many good restaurants in the area. Although Barceloneta is considered one of the poor areas of the city, it is quite safe day and night. The apartment is a perfect base for sight-seeing, as most major tourist attractions are within a walking distance, or at worst - 20 minutes by public transport. Metro and bus stations are near by, and it's easy to find a taxi. This sunny, loft-style apartment (30m2) is located on the 2nd floor of a typical Bareloneta building without elevator. The building itself has recently been renovated, and the apartment and its furnishings are of high quality.
