The house is a three minute walk to the beach, six houses from The Reef Club Hotel and has beach access for all properties in Playacar. Robert Von Hagge, the famous 18 hole championship golf course, is also only a few minutes walk away. The main level of Casa Sand Castle holds a bright two story foyer, a master suite with king size bed and sitting area, private large bathroom and a walk-in closet and balcony. The large principle room’s bedroom level is 1195 square feet (111 meters). The second bedroom contains two queen beds that share a double vanity with shower. A third bedroom also has two queen beds. All beds feature 300 thread count versatile Egyptian cotton linens. Once at the top of the stairs to the upper level, a large open plan allows plenty of room for socializing. The full sized kitchen includes a ceramic cook top stove, dishwasher, double sink, double door fridge and a breakfast bar that seats four. The roomy dining area seats eight and the living room has stylish rattan furniture laid out beneath a stunning brick cupola and large chandelier. The coffee table sits in front of a star choice satellite receiver, television, dvd, vcr and stereo. A second seating area with a smaller table is perfect for board games or children to enjoy. Both the bedroom level and living area overlook a charming private garden. The Casa Sand Castle’s 783 square foot (73 meters) rooftop deck is spacious and open and features two seating areas that give guests a view of the ocean and the island of Cozumel. Cool off with an outdoor shower on the roof or enjoy the sea breeze from under the patio umbrella as you let your worries drift away! As an added bonus for our guests, we make available our discounted all-inclusive privileges at the Reef Club Hotel. Using our Playacar VIP card, you have access to free beach towels and lounge chairs or you may opt for the half-day/full day all-inclusive package with discount. This entitles you to all meals, snacks and beverages; all non-motor water sports activities, on site gym and pool activities!

Reservation policy:

A 50% deposit is required to hold your dates. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.

Payment policy:

Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 12% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure. We prefer your reservation be paid with check or money order. We accept VISA or MC with a 5% processing fee.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. There will be a US 150 handling fee on all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave. No pets allowed. No smoking inside the property. Three night minimum stay. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible. A limited number of cribs, cots, strollers, cell phones and other items not included in the rental are available on a first come first serve basis at USD 40.00 per week and must be reserved and paid for prior to arrival. Rented cell phones come with a credit of 200.00 Mexican Pesos included in the weekly rental fee. Additional cards "Fichas de amigo" can be purchased at many local stores. All rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations. Maid service is three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $20 per day. At the time of final payment you will receive an email outlining the additional services we offer, including airport transportation. Please let us know at least a week in advance which services you would like us to set up for you. Directions and entry procedures will be send out two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving the premises.
