Casa Amigos is a new luxury home ready for your vacation in a Tropical Wonderland! We are located on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, just south of Dominical in the beautiful Escaleras Mountain range at an elevation of 1200 feet overlooking the Ocean. Imagine waking up to sounds of the rainforest... our streams and gentle waterfalls, the calls of howler monkeys, the songs of toucans and many other tropical birds just outside of your window. Casa Amigos is set in three and a half private acres of tropical splendor! Varieties of Bananas, Mangos, Avocados, Lemons, Cashews, Breadfruit, Guayaba, Oranges, and many other assorted tropical fruits are cultivated on the property, and available fresh-for-the-picking in season. We have an onsite English/Spanish speaking manager (who is also a masseuse!) available to facilitate your needs. With 2000+ square feet of living space on two levels, Casa Amigos offers large wrap-around covered terraces, queen-size Swiss orthopedic beds in each room (can be separated to singles.) Designed for two to six people, Casa Amigos may be rented together with Villa Mango, our second villa to host up to 14 guests. Villa Mango and Casa Amigos are located about 50 km. (30 miles) South of Quepos, seven km. (five miles) South from Dominical on the beautiful Southern-Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica -- 175 km (110 miles) Southwest of San Jose (Costa Rica's capital city, near the International Airport.) We recommend driving to our Villas via the "mountain route..." an approximately three and a half hour beautiful drive (on well-paved roads!) through incredible landscapes, varied micro-climates, and exquisite "above-the-clouds" mountain and ocean views. An alternative is to fly from San Jose to Palmar Sur (via Sansa or Nature Air Airlines), about 45 minutes from "Paradise Costa Rica." Vickie, our property manager can pick you up and assist you in renting a vehicle in Dominical. It is also possible to fly from San Jose to Quepos and pre-arrange to pick up a vehicle from that location. (We advise renting a four wheel drive vehicle to allow you to explore many of the beautiful "out-of-the-way" sites in the area.) The Dominical area has a average temperature of 83F (28C) and is delightful year round. There is a "dry" season from November through April. During the rest of the year, the mornings are usually sunny but it may rain in the afternoon. While Costa Rica is a tropical wonderland all year, many nature lovers find the lush "green" season especially beautiful. Thanks to our mountain-side 1200 feet elevation, guests at Villa Mango and Casa Amigos enjoy year-round comfortable mountain breezes. Dominical is a small coastal village (population approximately 600). People are easy-going, and the relaxed atmosphere is contagious! There are various cozy bars and a surprising variety of casual restaurants and "sodas" (local food). Later in the night, some of these restaurants change into small-scale discoteques, where "Ticos" (native Cosa Ricans) and vacationers dance to Latin music. In the past few years, a number of wonderful restaurants have opened in our area, including Thai, Italian, Continental, Indonesian, Mexican and French... all in beautiful tropical settings. Shops in the area include a gift store, clothes boutique, small grocery store, fruit stands, and a bakery. Dominical and many beautiful, secluded beaches are just a quick drive "down the mountain" from Villa Mango and Casa Amigos. Casa Amigos and Villa Mango are ideally situated... you may just want to relax on our large panoramic ocean-view balconies, swim in our 48 foot lap swimming pools, and enjoy our lush tropical landscaping. You may also want to take advantage of the many varied attractions in our area. 50% of total rental due at reservation, balance due 1 month prior to arrival. Payment made by bank wire transfer.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellations received more than 60 days in advance of scheduled arrival date -- refund of deposit less 20% of total rental: 10% cancellation fee and 10% held as a credit toward another reservation. Cancellations received 21-60 days in advance -- 20% of total rental retained as cancellation fee and balance held as credit toward another reservation. 7-20 days in advance -- 50% of total rental cancellation fee and balance held as credit toward another reservation. Less than 7 days in advance 75% of total rental cancellation fee and balance held as credit toward another reservation.
