Michaux State Park is 10 minutes away with the Appalachian Trail as well as other hiking trails, biking--both road and mountain, swimming and fishing at Fuller Lake and Laurel Lake. Like to golf? Drive 10 minutes to one course, 20 minutes to another. The Gettysburg Battlefield? Drive a few miles and you are there. Country fairs? The first 2 weekends in October enjoy the Apple Harvest Festival only 5 minutes away at the South Mountain Fairgrounds.
