To visit a tropical version of Japan, a 15 minute drive will take you to the Byodo-In in the Valley of the Temples. This temple is an exact replica of the Japanese temple. You may ring the enormous bell for good luck and feed the koi in their 2 acres of ponds. At the end of the day, you will always be glad to return to the quiet comfort of the inn. An evening BBQ on your 60 foot lanai, overlooking the million dollar view of the bay and the mountains, is a great way to relax and enjoy the inn's tranquility. There is no better view on Oahu than the one of the sun setting over the mountains. The sight of the full moon setting behind the mountains early in the morning has a quiet beauty all its own.
