Our resort condo is located in Indian Shores, Florida on Boca Ciega Bay, just across the street from the Gulf of Mexico and its sandy beaches - a short walk from our front door. Indian Shores is located on the west coast of Florida between Clearwater Beach (north) and St. Pete Beach (south) and a 30 minute drive from Tampa and Tampa International Airport.
A spacious corner unit, with a long balcony off the living room area affording a splendid view directly up the bay. The view is spectacular and just watching the sailboats and boaters cruising up and down the bay is very relaxing. There is assigned covered parking and elevator service.
Master bedroom has a queen-size bed with en-suite bath and the second bedroom has twin beds. The second bathroom has a walk-in shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, electric stove, microwave and a full complement of utensils, cutlery and various electrical apppliances.
The entry is ceramic tiled and the living/dining area and both bedrooms are carpeted.
Cable TV with more than 60 channels and a DVD player for your use. Condo has central AC and heating. There is a coin operated laundry room for all residents with sufficient washers and dryers.
On-site amenities available for your use at no charge include tennis courts, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fishing pier, BBQ grill, putting green and sun deck.
There is much to enjoy in the area - shopping, restaurants, picturesque water views, deep sea fishing charters, dinner theaters, golfing, beach-combing and just plain relaxing in the sun - that one can spend a thoroughly enjoyable vacation without traveling more than 10-15 miles. You can pack a lunch and spend a day at Seminole Lake Park, visit the Wagon Wheel Flea Market, possibly the largest in the country or take public transportation available at the resort entrance.
There are also many famous attractions within a relatively short distance: Greyhound racing, tropical Busch Gardens Amusement Park in Tampa, Dali Museum in St. Pete, Tarpon Springs (Greek community well known for sponge divers and boats), Suncoast Bird Sanctuary in Indian Shores, and somewhat touristy Johns Pass Village in Madeira Beach. Orlando is a two-hour drive where you can spend a few days visiting Disney World, Epcot Center, Seaworld, MGM and Universal Studios.
