Description:
Aloha from Kona Hawaii! My name is Kurt. Are you ready for a diferent kind of vacation experience? For the past four years we've been sharing our most magnificent home in a most magnificent spot with people from around the world. If you think you might be interested, please drop me a line and I'll tell you everything you want to know.
We offer the following rooms:
The Crow's Nest is on the second floor of the house and has a
spectacular view of Kealekekua Bay and the Pacific Ocean. It has a private lanai, individual satellite TV, DVD, phone, private bath, refrigerator, wall to wall carpet, and king size bed. It is our most popular room and a favorite of honeymooners. It is $90 plus 10% tax per night. This room may have the best view in Hawaii!
The Pacific Room, on the main floor of the house, is a spaciousbedroom with a huge private bathroom, king size bed, TV, VCR, wall to wall carpet, refrigerator, phone and opens on the long lanai which wraps around the back of the house looking out to the ocean. There is a semi-private area on the lanai for guests staying in the Pacific room. There is also a fine ocean view from the bedroom. This room is $80 plus 10% tax per night.
The Nut Room is slightly smaller than the other two rooms but still quite large, wall to wall carpet, has one single bed and one double bed,no TV or phone (however guests are welcome to use the ones in the living room). The bathroom is a few steps downthe hallway. It overlooks the orchard and has a wonderful skylight, and is $60 plus 10% tax per night.
Prices include a hearty breakfast--Hawaiian style, Japanese, Mexican, traditional, or vegan. We are also a member of the Hawaii Island Bed and Breakfast Association, and the Edge of the World has just won the "Travellers' Choice Award" (B&B Registry), so guests can be assured of the highest standards.
We are located on a five acre working farm, surrounded by macadamia nut, coffee, papaya, avocado, and mango trees. If you're a coffee drinker, you'll be served my own 100% pure, organic Kona coffee every morning. If you would like to try my own noni tea, just let me know. We also grow organic bananas, pineapple, cherries, limes, sapodilla, and passion fruit, some of which you will be served with breakfast, depending on the fruits in season. There are also abundant beautiful flowers scattered here and there.
Guests who stay for three days or more may use the microwave, the refrigerator and the laundry room during their stay. We also have hair dryers, beach towels and mats, limited snorkel equipment, and ice chests available for free, and a two person kayak we rent for $20 per day. Guests are welcome to use my computer for a quick check of their e-mail.
Please let me know if you'd like me to make a reservation for you.
Warm aloha,
Kurt
