Where To Complain About a Vacation Rental?

Holiday Rentals - Complaining About Vacation Rentals

When a renter wants to complain about a vacation rentals property that he secured, he should contact the owner or manager of the holiday rentals unit.

Many websites from which you rent vacation rentals are just used to advertise and promote vacation rentals for owners or managers. Managers or owners of the holiday rentals are the ones who operate and are responsible for the company.

Below are the steps that an unsatisfied customer should follow in contacting entities:

  • Contact the owner/manager and express your concerns.
  • The owner/manager of the holiday rentals will, in most cases, attempt to resolve the issue amicably.
  • Share your issues with the website operator
  • The website operator can contact the owner and put some additional pressure. They might then decide to ban an unethical owner from advertising on their website.
  • If necessary, post bad reviews on the website from which you rented your vacation rentals property
  • Post negative reviews on Trip Advisor and similar review websites
  • File a dispute with your credit card companies
