Vacation Rentals vs. Hotels And Other Lodging Options

Holiday Rentals - Vacation Rentals vs. Hotels

Vacations can be expensive. More than likely, you are trying to make your vacation as affordable as possible by cutting corners. You do not need to cut corners with vacation rentals. Holiday rentals offer more privacy and comfort for a better price as compared to other lodging options. Vacation rentals are more spacious as well. On the other hand, some groups may find it is easiest to deal with each other when there are less people under one roof. While you can arrange for daily cleaning services in holiday rentals, hotels offer it as standard.

The value of vacation rentals is blatantly obvious, and vacationers are discovering that the value is unbeatable – particularly when compared to hotels.  A holiday rentals apartment or home is more practical for the space it offers and its ability to accommodate family members in one apartment or home. A vacation rentals home or condo can also provide other savings as far as food or parking are concerned. Vacationers may choose to cook in their holiday rentals rather than to have to go and eat out all the time. Below are a few comparison points:

  • Vacation rentals have a property manager. A hotel has a front desk staff
  • Most holiday rentals come with Wi-Fi. Many hotels don’t and those that do may charge a fee
  • Vacation rentals offer daily cleaning if prearranged. Hotels offer standard daily housekeeping services.
  • Holiday rentals have a full kitchen. Hotels normally won’t have more than a refrigerator.
  • Vacation rentals normally have parking. Hotels MAY have parking.
